This is a poster I submitted to the aMAZElab's Arte&Culture (www.amaze.it) new international project Arcipelago Balkani. An Alternative MAP. The aim of the project is to investigate the Balkan Area as an Arcipelago, an area marked by geopolitical, socio-territorial changing and phenomenon of rapid transformation in the perception of places. This project Arcipelago Balkani has just started, led by Claudia Zanfi of aMAzelab, coordinator for Skopje is artist Yane Calovski. aMAZElab will produce a ‘collection’ of almost 300 posters from different artists and theoretician from the Balkan area and others. Then glue the posters in main public spaces of the city of Modena (public libraries, train stations, bus stop, museums, ect..), during the Festival of Sociology. The poster exhibition will open on 9th October 2010 in Modena (Italy). The idea is a touring display in different cities: Skopie (Press to Exit); Sarajevo (Museum of Contemporary Art); Tirana (TICA Biennial); finally Berlin (Art Festival, Nov 2011).
